MAT Mission

The mission of the Missouri State University’s Athletic Training Program is to prepare students for employment in a variety of health care settings as athletic trainers. The program will fulfill this mission by providing comprehensive and multifaceted health care education founded on a challenging academic curriculum, instilling foundational professional behaviors, and highly integrated and immersive clinical experiences in accordance with the University’s commitment to Public Affairs.
